Niki Vinogradoff is a Finnish mindful life coach living with his wife and nine-year-old daughter in the Czech Republic.
His journey to mindful coaching started at his great-grandfather's funeral when he was three. The reality of death and the thought that one day his parents will eventually die was so hard for him to handle. But it made him somehow more meditative about life. After feeling "home" at the Buddhist meditation center a year earlier, he decided to live there when he was twenty-six and stayed there for what he considered as four years of honeymoon with meditation where he had meditated 5-6 hours every day.
Highlights:
It is hard to set achievable goals, but without goals, there would neither be direction nor results. The fear of failure may hinder one from identifying goals. Still, it is important to do so for a number of benefits including the dopamine blocking the cortisol from getting attached to the body while one is on the way to achieving results.
Since we all desire a more comfortable experience makes setting clear goals more compulsory rather than optional. But it also requires more awareness and mindful focus to set and attain them.
